How to build better models? Become a certified 777 pilot!​

Hello to all,
Some time ago I posted here my thoughts about the future of our Pro product line and how I saw it. I told you that since 2017 I have been following in the footsteps of my friend, former FlightFactor colleague and current Laminar employee, Philipp Ringler, in becoming a private pilot. This was the first step into real aviation inspired by both Philipp and the experiences I have had with all of you here, in the X-Plane world. Following this path I became more and more interested in real aviation, got my Instrument raiting, then multiengine, then flight instructor. But still it wasn't clear whether this passion for real aviation could one day, help us at FlightFactor in a professional sense. Last year it finally became apparent that indeed it could. As those who follow my personal YouTube channel know, Philipp instructed me towards my Commercial Pilot's license last fall and those who read my previous posts on the subject, know that I promised you a type rated commercial designer for X-Plane.
Well, I am glad to inform that after getting my ATP training at the Untied Training Center in Denver, and Type training at PanAm academy in Miami, I am an officially trained and rated Boeing 777 pilot.
The experience of going through the professional courses in transport aviation, both in the United States and Europe, now gives FlightFactor a unique chance to try to bring that real feeling of cockpit experience into our future models. It has not only to do with the actual system, and feel of the airplane, which now I have literary experienced, but also the procedures and techniques used in real transport aviation. It will be a challenge to bring those multicrew concepts to a single-pilot home computer simulation, but we would really like to undertake it.
We also plan to bring the training concepts that real pilots use on real simulators to X-Plane. Unique scenarios used in training for TR or MCC.
In the next few month we hope to have more details for you about the new concepts we will have the next models, and to have some real screenshots to show you from the new models.
In the meanwhile, continue supporting up by buying our products and upgrades, we will try to keep you informed of our progress here and on other platforms as often as we can. When we remain quite, its because we are very busy making the perfect model for you to enjoy.
